The Boycott List
I put this here as a running list of what companies to boycott that aid Israel's genocide or Trump's ICE, or whose CEOs underpay their workers or have abominable working conditions.
UPDATED: Mar 12, 2026
PREAMBLE
Feb 18, 2026 - Please note that I created this list on February 9, 2026. I originally included lists derived from information freely available on the internet, based on three articles, that resulted in the ICE, Trump and BDS lists. As readers’ comments came in offering new insights, I began to realize that more could be done. However, because those three lists are pasted here from the original articles, I will not be altering or editing them.
As of this writing (March 3, 2026), I have a new chapter (7) listing companies associated with Epstein, a work-in-progress.
This resources comes from many sources, and is intended to provide information to be used freely by readers, according to their means, personal preferences, and their situation in life. It is not prescriptive.
Collaboration with you
This is now becoming a more collaborative list, as I add suggestions from readers. After reading the article, if you think something is missing that should be listed, please share in the comments. Note: this only applies to lists flagged with ***This is a collaborative list. Make your suggestions in the comments.***
If you just want to know alternative places to shop…
If you find it overwhelming (many do), I have created a new article, also collaborative, called Safe Places to Shop in the USA (and Canada).
Other resources for you - some quick answers (elsewhere)…
MATTHEW COOKE created his “Better Living Through Boycotts” last year and updates regularly. I admire the compact easy-to-use design of this resource.
Thanks to Joanne for sharing a great web site called Resistandunsubscribe that you can go right away that has links to 10 subscriptions you can cancel, and 8 companies whose services you can cancel. This is a quick and easy thing to implement.
Another great resource for fighting endless war and the billionaire class, with boycott list and alternatives listed side-by-side is: https://www.unitedwestand.shop/
UPDATE Mar 3, 2026: I’ve added a few “ALTERNATIVE” comments after a company on the list to give you something actionable. Thanks for Notes From The Apocalypse for the inspiration.

INTRODUCTION
Latest additions to this boycott list appear at the top of their respective chapters.
We want to send a message that bad behaviour is unwelcome. We deserve better. We boycott businesses that support Trump or ICE, that have bad business practices, that underpay workers, that give their CEOs insanely inflated pay.
Although I add new information as it becomes available – and your comments, contributions and collaboration, are very welcome – I cannot hope to remove all items from the list if corporations abandon their support for ICE, IDF, Trump, Israel.
Please note that there are several businesses mentioned under ANTI-ICE, ANTI-TRUMP, and THE BDS LIST that have poor labour practices, bad customer service, and/or ridiculous CEO payouts. If there happen to be businesses that don’t merit boycotting under those categories, I include them in the last section THE VERY BAD CORPORATIONS LIST.
Please check the comments on this post for more interesting additions to the list.
I can’t do this alone. Your comments and suggestions will help improve this post. If you can manage a paid subscription, that will also help me dedicate the time necessary to ensure this Boycott List becomes the best it can be.
TOP OF THE LIST: THE BIG 5
The main thing you want to know is: who are the really big bad guys?
GAMAM is an acronym for the 5 most valued corporations in the world. They are not necessarily bad guys, but, yeah, 4 out of 5 definitely are, and Apple has been accused of bad practices…no time for that here.
Google: abandon as many products as possible and disable the AI-training app Gemini.
Apple - 85% of senior execs donate to the Democrats according to goodsuniteus
Meta, SOURCE: https://inspirationfeed.com/what-companies-does-facebook-own/
Amazon
Microsoft.
Most of these companies have close ties with Trump and donated significant amounts to his election. See THE ANTI-TRUMP LIST below. They also collect data on everyone and provide data services in all sorts of questionable or objectionable places. For alternatives and instructions how to dump them, see my Safe Places article.
THE WAR MACHINE
SURVEILLANCE, MACHINERY, FINANCING
PALANTIR - Peter Thiel
ORACLE - Larry Ellison - THIS IS ESSENTIAL. Consult this excellent analysis.
RAY-BAN & parent company EssilorLuxottica; includes Oakley, LensCrafters and more. See Notes From The Apocalypse.
UBIQUITI - maker of drones - https://hntrbrk.com/ubiquiti/
BANKS - ALTERNATIVE: credit unions and community banks. Ask your bank about your retirement portfolio to make sure you are not supporting war.

UPDATE 2026-02-13: some have been asking me, “what products should I use instead?” I originally created a section here called “Boycott is good, but what can I actively use instead?” So because this post was getting long, I created a new post on that topic called Safe Places to Shop in the USA (and Canada).
The Boycott Lists
PREAMBLE
The boycott lists include all Meta platforms. But there’s a problem: the mass of humanity is using Meta apps. Substack is relatively small by comparison. For us to get the word out to the greatest number of people, and for me to share and gather materials for this post, I have to use their platforms. And I share my substack posts to the big social media to get people there to come to Substack. That is why you will see two Instagram videos below. The BDS movement uses IG extensively. Until people migrate in great numbers to alternatives, we have no alternative but to republish the news that we support from those platforms, and even republish our substacks to them, so as to promote our Substack writing, and our cause, to the largest number of people possible. It’s not hypocrisy, but our current reality. So my advice for those who simply use social media, but do not publish critical content, is to get off Meta apps. Authors and activists need to continue to communicate with people on those apps to let them know why they should get off them.
VIDEOS
There are several videos that sum up visually what we are trying to accomplish.
New video added on Mar 12, 2026
This has become my favourite video and content creator on this topic: Matthew Cooke is excellent! He has abandoned all “platform landlords” and has migrated everything to his own web site, which I highly recommend. https://www.survivorsguidetoearth.com/boycott
New video added on Feb 13, 2026
Please note that the user who created the below video does not have any accounts on alternative platforms, so if we want to see their boycott advocacy, we have to view it where it is, on Instagram. See above PREAMBLE for justification.
Apps for your phone that help you make informed Boycott decisions
A handy app for your phone is BOYCAT, an “ethical shopping companion.” Scan barcodes while you shop to find out if a product is made by an unethical company, for example, a company located in the West Bank or otherwise complicit with genocide.
The goodsuniteus.com web site and app offer easy to use statistics on political donations by American companies.
The NoThanks app tracks companies that do business in the West Bank, have trade relations with Israel, or otherwise contribute to the Israeli military-industrial-surveillance complex, and genocide of Palestinians. Easily scan barcodes to identify products listed for the boycott movement, streamlining your efforts to make informed purchasing decisions. Say no to brands you don't want to support, effortlessly.
A list of several other apps can be found here.
The following lists are based on:
Anti-ICE list lists companies that have service contracts with ICE of support their activities in some substantial way;
Anti-Trump list: companies know to have contributed substantially to Trump’s election campaign or continue to financially support him;
BDS initiatives, which I support;
observations about companies whose CEOs and executives get excessively rich pay and bonuses, and/or whose labour practices are abominable.
Please note that the user who created the below video does not have any accounts on alternative platforms, so if we want to see their boycott advocacy, we have to view it where it is, on Instagram. See above PREAMBLE for justification.
THE ANTI-ICE LISTS
ANTI-ICE LIST #1 - pasted from an article in The Nation by Eric Blanc
The below list appears in an article of January 9, 2026 also published on Substack here. I republish large sections below. [Please note: because the below list is pasted here from the original article, I will not be altering or editing it.]
***This is NOT a collaborative list. It will not be altered***
This is the most urgent action to take right now to disable ICE. You can take action right now by calling/contacting these companies and urging them to cancel their ICE contracts that are expiring in early 2026, making it clear that if they do not, you will no longer do business with them. The following list is published in Eric’s original article. Note that the order is random and should not be viewed as worst at the top.
Dell ($18.8 million contract with ICE for Microsoft software licenses, expiring March 2026)
UPS ($90,500 small-package delivery contract with ICE, expiring March 2026)
FedEx ($1 million delivery services contract with ICE, expiring March 2026)
Motorola Solutions ($15.6 million tactical communication infrastructure contract with ICE, expiring May 2026)
Comcast ($24,600 Internet services contract for ICE Seattle office, expiring May 2026. This could be a great fight for newly elected Mayor Katie Wilson to take on.)
AT&T ($83 million IT and network contract with ICE, with a potential end date of July 2032)
LexisNexis ($21 million data-brokerage contract with ICE. This company is particularly vulnerable to pressure from university students and professor unions, since much of its revenue comes from colleges.)
Home Depot and Lowe’s are using AI-powered license plate readers and feeding this data into law enforcement surveillance systems accessible to ICE. Their parking lots are also regular sites of ICE raids targeting day laborers.
High-lift national targets have deeper relationships with ICE, and will be harder to pressure. But two in particular need to be tackled.
Amazon provides ICE with the digital backbone for its data and surveillance operations through Amazon Web Services. Amazon’s Whole Foods stores are a rich potential target for nonviolent disruption on big days of action.
Palantir provides ICE with core data platforms that integrate and analyze information from many databases so agents can search, link, and manage deportation operations.
It will take longer to force these behemoths—the two worst corporate collaborators with ICE—to cut their ties, but it’s essential to publicize their centrality to Trump’s deportation machine.
Local Action: identify businesses in your town or city that are helping ICE by providing any kind of service. Ask restaurants not to serve them and retail shops not to allow them into their stores under any circumstances.
Strategic organizing to win justice for all is the best way to honor the memory of Renee Nicole Good, Alex Pretti, and the countless other victims of Trump’s inhumanity at home and abroad.
I’d like to thank the author of this article in The Nation for his excellent work. Eric Blanc is a professor of labor studies at Rutgers University. He writes the Labor Politics newsletter on Substack. His latest book is We Are the Union: How Worker-to-Worker Organizing is Revitalizing Labor and Winning Big.
ANTI-ICE LIST #2
Additional Anti-ICE boycotts
added from the comments as they come in, as well as other research.
***This is a collaborative list. Make your suggestions in the comments.***
Citizens Bank - financing private prison and immigration detention corporations.
Target - helping ICE use their stores for abductions.
Carnival Cruise Lines allowed ICE to break into a man’s cabin, Coast Guard veteran, removed from the ship during the night and incarcerated him for hours off the ship.
THE ANTI-TRUMP LISTS
Feb 18, 2026 - I’ve expanded this to two lists. This section originally only contained the names of individuals who supported the Trump campaign, a list that originally appeared in Newsweek article from February 7, 2025 called List of American Companies That Support President Donald Trump. . But there are others whose financial support shows up elsewhere. These additions are based on independent research and additions from the comments. Once you read the lists, and think about what’s happening in the USA, you’ll connect the dots…
ANTI-TRUMP LIST #1 - from various sources and comments
Businesses that support Trump
that are not already listed in the campaign donors section below.

ANTI-TRUMP LIST #2 - from a February 7, 2025 Newsweek article
Businesses that supported Trump’s 2024 election campaign
This list is based on a Newsweek article from February 7, 2025 called List of American Companies That Support President Donald Trump. The article lists those who donated to his election campaign. Note that several companies donate to both political parties, and some of the top earners at some of these companies may donate more to the Democrats than the Republicans. So caution is advised. [Please note: because the below list is pasted here from the original article, I will not be altering or editing it.]
***This is NOT a collaborative list. It will not be altered***

THE EPSTEIN LIST
Based on an article published by the CBC, this is a controversial section because the individuals named in the Epstein files have not been convicted of a crime. There is overlap with the Trump donor list (of course). Many named have resigned or closed their businesses. Here are the big 5 at the top.

Explanations about why these companies are on the list can be found at the BDS web site. [Please note: because the below list is pasted here from the original article, I will not be altering or editing it.]

THE SUPPORTERS OF PALETINIAN GENOCIDE LIST
Generally, most of the below boycotts have their origin in being identified as doing business in the West Bank or supporting Israel in some way. If a company has been identified above, I have not included it here.

Employees who have been with the company for years, earning middle-class wages of $50,000 a year, will be replaced by people paid between $9.50 and $12 per hour. United says it must do this to cut costs and raise its profits relative to other airlines. But United CEO Jeff Smisek gave himself $8.1 million this year. If he cut his salary just $2 million (in line with the CEO of the more successful Southwest Airlines, who gets $4 million), United would save about as much as it will by cutting the pay of those 630 employees. As a result of the above, their customer service is very poor.
